Online Training

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic it has been impossible to conduct traditional classroom training, so we have adapted.
We can now provide the same quality of training online, using Microsoft Teams.

How it works
Teams allows for computer screens to be shared and split, so the trainer can share his/her screen with all of the delegates simultaneously, and they in turn can split their screen so they see the trainers screen and their own, as they work.

Because two-way simultaneous conversation is difficult on Teams, the training is very much trainer-led, but with the trainer pausing frequently to allow the delegates to interact at regular intervals.

The number of delegates should ideally be small – ideally two but no more than three per session – to allow for the best level of delegate/trainer interaction.

The typical procedure

  • A number of people are identified for training
  • We send those individuals a skills analysis form that assesses their existing skill.  This assessment is carried out by us without charge, and ensures that only delegates of roughly the same ability are trained together – very important
  • The days are scheduled – usually a half-day per course – and the delegates are sent a joining email with a link that they click to commence the training
  • At the end of the course, bespoke training material is created on the topics covered, and emailed to each delegate as a .pdf file
  • We charge a set amount per training session, irrespective of what is covered and how many delegates take part

Course structures
We only run bespoke courses – courses that are tailored to the delegates, but we still remain flexible during the training.  However, to help delegates select the topics that would be most useful, we offer these ‘typical’ topic structures to look through and maybe select from ;-
